What does ICBAN do?

The Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN) is a Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland network of 10 member councils – Armagh City & District; Cookstown; Dungannon & South Tyrone; Fermanagh; Omagh; Cavan; Donegal; Leitrim; Monaghan and Sligo – with one common aim: ‘to respond to the unique economic and social needs of the ICBAN region.

I don't have a reference number for my Part B Application - where do I get it from?

Go back to the website www.eugrants.org and log on using your previous user name and password.

If you have correctly completed and submitted your Part A Application then your application reference number will have been automatically generated. You should print off a copy of your Part A for your records.

If you didn’t click on Submit, then recall your Part A Application, check that all requested information has been supplied and click on Submit to forward to the relevant Implementing Agent. You will now be able to save and/or print off a blank copy of your Part B Application, where you should add the reference number allocated on your Part A.

Do you have any media contacts?

Please check your training pack or contact the Communications Officer in ICBAN directly for named contacts; however it is strongly recommended that you identify your own contacts within regional newspapers by personally introducing yourself and your project.

Can I get funding for my business/project from ICBAN?

This is entirely dependent on whether your project is cross-border in nature and whether it passes through a multi-stage assessment process. Each funding decision is made on the basis of the case presented and the measurement of that against the criteria for Interreg IIIA funding. While ICBAN staff are happy to answer queries around the eligibility of projects, this should not be interpreted to constitute an indication of whether your funding application will be approved or not. For more information on eligibility please visit ICBAN Interreg Section – Eligibility & Assessment Criteria.

If you wish to apply for Interreg funding please visit: www.eugrants.org.

What is the difference between ICBAN and Interreg?

ICBAN (the Irish Central Border Area Network) is an organization. Interreg IIIA is a European-wide funding Programme specifically for cross border activities. Part of ICBAN’s work in the region involves managing Interreg IIIA.
